Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, cost, capacity, yield, and efficiency.
• Problem-solving with root-cause tools (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA)
• Identify bottlenecks and improve production flow, capacity, and operational efficiency.
• Support tooling, fixtures, jigs, workstations, and equipment improvements.
• Support NPI, product transfer, and production ramp-up activities.
• Develop, optimize, train production on manufacturing processes, methods, and work instructions.
• Implement improvement plans / actions (cycle time, yield, productivity, capacity, downtime, and OEE).
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, waste reduction, cost-saving initiatives, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure safe and consistent manufactured products following (SOPs, EHS, and industry standards).
• Assess manufacturing capacity and provide input on manpower, tooling, and equipment needs.
• Provide technical guidance to supervisors, technicians, and operators.
• Prepare reports on manufacturing KPIs / performance / issues.
• Support any tasks assigned by Head of Department and superior.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering.
• 1–3 years work experiences in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of manufacturing, process engineering, and documentations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Work closely with manufacturing and assembly teams, resolve issues, and takes ownership of assigned products.
• Comprehensive understanding of ISO9001, ISO13485 and AS9100 standard requirements, quality requirements, and process control.
