MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

Responsibilities

• To analyze the current method of production by watching operations, conducting comprehensive research, interviewing suppliers and using information about the product and its parts.
• To create new ways of producing products for new or current ventures by utilizing findings from research, knowledge of the product, expense information and company goals.
• To improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements and equipment layout.
• To prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
• To provide manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests.
• To keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services.
• To develop alternative methods of making manufacturing practices more efficient and cost effective, material requirements and current needs in order to improve.
• To make recommendations to company leaders in order to have the best use of production timelines, equipment and supplies.
• To maintain all company equipment in top working condition by scheduling all repairs, keeping up on recommended maintenance and diagnosing any issues that appear.
• To handle other tasks and duties as and when requested by superior.

Authorities

• To summarize all data, documentation and information related to the production system in a detailed report for internal use.
• To generate an accurate database of all production details and data.

Education : Bachelor Degree in industrial engineering or business administration.

Skills : Able to work in fast changing and high-pressure environment. Ability to lead and work independently. Ability to provide feedback both orally and in writing.

Work Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate manufacturing plant. Experience with project management and planning.
