Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer [Overnight Shift]

• Training will occur on 1st shift, 7am start (~1 month of training), then transition to 3rd shift- 10 pm - 6am

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering field
• 5+ years of relevant Manufacturing Engineering experience in a production/manufacturing environment
• 5+ years of experience interpreting engineering drawings , including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
• Strong experience with CNC machining and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of high-speed machining techniques, cutting tools, and CNC machine capabilities
• Experience developing and improving manufacturing processes, including tooling/fixturing, inspection plans, process documentation, and operator instructions
• Experience with CNC programming , ideally involving 4+ axis machines
• Experience troubleshooting manufacturing/process issues and performing Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions
• Familiarity with SPC/metrology data and using data to improve process capability and reduce defects
• Ability to work closely with Manufacturing/Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• U.S. Citizenship required due to the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
• Comfortable working hands-on in and around manufacturing/factory environments

• VERICUT and/or Cimco Edit
• Creo CAD/CAM
• ICAM post-processor development
• Experience with multi-axis CNC programming
• Experience with paint, plating, and structural assembly
• Six Sigma / CORE methodology experience
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude
