Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary

Duties:

• Improve the system for processing engineering work including changes and corrective actions.
• Evaluate new programs for special requirements.
• Coordinate manufacturing and plans for new and repeating production.
• Develop and implement manufacturing plans for products and/or product groups.
• Recommend vendors and contractors as needed to support new manufacturing processes.
• Create laser and punch programs using Amada 4i software.
• Generate and review shop documentation for correctness and completeness prior to release.
• Work with shop supervisors and quality inspection personnel to coordinate new product manufacture.
• Develop and maintain labor standards for production operations.
• Integrate new equipment and technologies into production capabilities.
• Provide employee mentoring and training in advanced manufacturing techniques.
• Establish processes and programs to support continuous improvement against the objectives.
• Create 3D models and manufacturing drawings in SolidWorks.
• Interface directly with customers to clarify, refine and optimize projects for manufacturing.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, including complex assemblies, 3D modeling and drawing generation.
• Ability to work independently and shift priorities in a fastpaced environment.
• Experience in CNC milling and sheet metal fabrication preferred.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Experience:

• SolidWorks AND Manufacturing Engineering: 2 years (Required)
• Amada 4i AND CNC / Sheet Metal Fabrication: 2 years (Required)
