What they need
Manufacturing Engineer
Experience:
- 4 to 9 years of relevant experience in Press Tool / Stamping Tool Design, Development, Tool Room, or Maintenance
- Experience in automotive, sheet metal, stamping, or engineering manufacturing industries preferred.
Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Tool Engineering or equivalent
Function: Press Tool Design, Development & Maintenance (Stamping Tools)
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain press tools/stamping dies.
- Handle tool trials, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of tools.
- Support production for tool-related issues and quality improvements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and tool room teams for timely issue resolution.
Required Skills:
- Experience in Press Tool / Stamping Tool Design & Development.
- Knowledge of Progressive, Compound, Blanking, and Forming Dies.
- Hands-on experience in tool maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, CATIA, NX, Creo, or SolidWorks preferred.
- Good understanding of sheet metal stamping processes.
