With rapidly expanding operations in Taylor and Georgetown TX, we are investing more than $235 million in manufacturing infrastructure and creating up to 1,500 careers in Central Texas. Guided by our commitment to Building Tomorrow, we combine innovation, operational excellence, and a high-performance culture to shape the future of technology manufacturing.

Job Summary

Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for AI servers and integrated rack systems, supporting new product introduction through volume production. This hands-on role ensures safe, repeatable, and efficient assembly, integration, testing, and packaging while improving product quality, production capacity, and manufacturing cost.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing Process Development: Define and sustain server and rack assembly processes, production layouts, material flow, workstation requirements, and standard cycle times. Perform line balancing and capacity analysis to support production demand.

  • New Product Introduction & DFMA: Support prototype and pilot builds, conduct Design for Manufacturing and Assembly reviews, identify production risks, and verify process readiness before transitioning new products into volume manufacturing.

  • Server & Rack Integration: Establish assembly methods for server components, GPU trays, rack hardware, power distribution, network cabling, and cooling connections, including torque control, cable routing, labeling, and configuration verification.

  • Liquid Cooling Processes: Develop and validate assembly and inspection methods for cold plates, hoses, manifolds, and quick disconnects. Partner with thermal and test engineering on leak testing, pressure testing, filling, and draining procedures.

  • Tooling & Equipment: Specify, qualify, and improve fixtures, assembly tools, lifting aids, and automation equipment. Coordinate installation, commissioning, maintenance requirements, and equipment troubleshooting.

  • Documentation & Change Control: Create and maintain visual work instructions, process flows, process risk assessments, and control plans. Implement engineering changes and verify alignment of bills of materials, production routings, and shop-floor systems.

  • Production Support & Quality: Provide daily engineering support to production, investigate assembly defects and process-related test failures, and implement corrective actions using structured root-cause analysis, 5-Why, and 8D methods.

  • Continuous Improvement: Analyze first-pass yield, cycle time, throughput, downtime, scrap, and rework. Apply Lean manufacturing, error-proofing, and automation to improve performance and reduce manufacturing costs.

  • Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate with design, test, quality, operations, supply chain, suppliers, and customers to resolve manufacturing issues, support audits, and meet launch milestones. Train technicians and operators on approved processes while ensuring ESD protection, ergonomics, and safe material handling.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience in servers, electronics, or complex electromechanical assembly.

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, bills of materials, assembly specifications, and engineering changes.

  • Practical experience with NPI, process validation, tooling, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

  • Proficiency with data analysis and manufacturing documentation; familiarity with CAD, MES, and ERP/MRP systems.

  • Strong communication, technical writing, project coordination, and hands-on problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI/GPU servers, L10 server assembly, and L11 rack integration.

  • Familiarity with direct liquid cooling, production leak testing, and rack-level cooling connections.

  • Experience with PFMEA, statistical process control, Lean/Six Sigma, and manufacturing automation.

  • Fixture/Jig design and validation
