  • Apply DFM/DFA, PLM, material selection (metals), and 3D assembly simulation to ensure performance and manufacturability.
  • Evaluate equipment and decide on repair, redesign, rebuild, replacement, or automation strategies.
  • Collaborate with Controls, Software Controls, and Instrumentation Engineering to deliver end-to-end systems.
  • Represent the company with customers, suppliers, and engineering partners.

Project & Operational Leadership

  • Run multiple, concurrent projects through concept, design, procurement, FAT, SAT, installation, and commissioning.
  • Coordinate with Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Maintenance, and vendors.
  • Track engineering KPIs, project performance, capital expenditures, and resource utilization.
  • Support new product launches and process implementation on the manufacturing floor.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • History of delivering complex automation and manufacturing equipment projects.
  • Advanced CAD/3D design; linear FEA; structural analysis; PLM; DFM/DFA; prototypes; and materials expertise (metals).
