Job Title: Manufacturing Estimator / Planner (Aerospace)

Location: Moses Lake, WA | Fully onsite

Pay Range: $80,000- $120,000/year

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a Manufacturing Estimator / Planner for an aerospace flight test and manufacturing organization, which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing estimating, routing, and production planning looking to further their career in aerospace manufacturing. You will join a close-knit team of 7–10 that values rapport, collaboration, and a good sense of humor.

• Review customer drawings, specifications, and technical data packages to develop labor, material, tooling, machine time, and outside processing estimates.
• Build manufacturing routings, work orders, travelers, and inspection requirements from raw material through final inspection.
• Partner with Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, and Production to turn requirements into executable, on-schedule production plans and support delivery scheduling.
• Coordinate special processes (heat treat, anodize, plating, grinding, EDM, welding, NDT) and update plans and work instructions for engineering changes.
• Maintain estimating databases and routing accuracy; support AS9100 audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing planning, estimating, manufacturing engineering, CNC machining, or production control.
• Strong blueprint and GD&T interpretation, CAD proficiency, and intermediate Excel; working knowledge of CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and assembly.
• Associate's degree in Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent aerospace manufacturing experience); other engineering fields considered.

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Experience in an AS9100 manufacturing environment.
