About ITCs Foods Division

ITCs Foods Division is spearheading ITCs diversification into the foods business and is perhaps the fastest growing FMCG business in the country The Division has drawn up ambitious growth plans and is well positioned to become the largest branded, packaged food business in the country in the next five years.

Role

1. To meet production targets across factories as per the production plan within the stipulated budgets and timelines.

2. To achieve key performance metrics of Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost.

3. Implementation of Quality systems e.g. ISO 9001, HACCP, 5S, SGA etc.

4. To work on the optimization of cost and continuous process improvement

5. To meet all production targets ensuring quality, on time delivery and optimization of resources.

6. Commercialization of new products being developed.

7. People leadership Lead and manage a team of engineers.

8. Ensure conformity to the laid down quality guidelines and ensure that key issues in quality are resolved in a timely way.

9. Review the unit’s performance against key indices like productivity, capacity utilization, quality, and prioritize the action areas to improve the metrics. Recommend key interventions to enhance yield, utilization and productivity.

10. Lead the institutionalization of new lines / augmentation of existing lines at the unit for capacity optimization in coordination with the Projects team.

11. Guide the team for commercial scale production of new products / manufacturing changes related to new SKUs.

12. Managing Conversion Cost discussions end to end with Contractual Manufacturing Units

Preferred candidate profile

Min 60% of score in academics (10th, 12th & B.E/ B.Tech)
