Manufacturing Manager (PCBA)

About the role

Oversee the overall operation and management of the entire production process, including SMT, DIP, and pre-processing; formulate server PCBA production strategies and annual targets; and be responsible for core indicators such as capacity, yield, delivery, and cost.

Key responsibilities

• Establish a standardized production management system, promote lean production, and strictly control production costs, material losses, and production efficiency

• Be responsible for the construction, training, and performance management of the production team, and implement the requirements of the Malaysian Employment Act and OSHA Occupational Safety and Health Administration

• Lead the handling of production anomalies and the planning of new factory capacity ramp-up; and coordinate with core departments such as quality, PMC, and engineering

• Be responsible for customer-related production audits and coordination to ensure that server PCBA production meets IPC-A-610 Class 3 high-level standards and customer requirements

• Review all production process reports and SOP documents, establish a production data traceability system, and supervise the implementation of 8S and ESD electrostatic protection systems

• Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of management experience in a similar role in a server PCBA or other electronics manufacturing plant; experience in building a new factory production line from scratch is preferred.

• Proficient in the entire SMT/DIP production process for server motherboards; familiar with Lean/6Sigma manufacturing systems; experience in large-scale mass production management.

• Familiar with Malaysian employment regulations and occupational safety and health standards; fluent in both English and Chinese; able to communicate seamlessly with local teams and clients.

• Strong organizational management, problem-solving, and cross-departmental coordination skills; able to work under pressure.
