Sentag Modular Manufacturing is an original equipment manufacture (OEM) specializing in modular office construction for industrial, construction, infrastructure and developmental businesses across Western Canada. Our process includes initial design, module construction, delivery and site installation. In addition to building new structures, Sentag also has an extensive rental fleet to offer more flexibility to support our customers project budgets.

Based in Acheson, we are looking for an Operations Manager to join our team. Objectives of this role

Project Management:

• Plan, organize and report on manufacturing timelines. Identifying gaps that require additional support.
• Participate in regular production planning meetings to ensure projects are progressing on time and on budget. Proactively manage and mitigate challenges that arise as required.

Quality Control:

• Change agent for continuous improvement efforts including quality assurance / quality control process.
• Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to optimize internal capacity.

Accounting:

• Oversee the employees supporting the accounts payable and accounts receivable process. Regularly reporting progress to senior management.

Communication:

• Effectively bridge communication between drafting, shop and yard operations for consistent project management.
• Ability to work within a cross-functional environment where the focus is maximizing the customer experience.
• Provide support to drafting and sales teams within customer meetings as required.

Required skills and qualifications

• 5+ years of proven success in an operations management role
• Strong skills in budget development and oversight
• Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of facility operations and customer service
• Proficiency in conflict management and business negotiation processes
• Knowledge of business productivity software and an aptitude for learning new applications

Job Type: Full-time
