Manufacturing Operations Technician

Overview

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Manufacturing Operations Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll contribute to daily operations by applying mechanical aptitude and using a range of tools to support efficient production. The ideal candidate can read a tape measure accurately, operate hand and power tools safely, and, with training, work with industrial machinery. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn are essential. Responsibilities

• Assemble components using a variety of hand and power tools
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials and products throughout the facility
• Support manufacturing processes by loading, unloading, and organizing raw materials and finished goods
• Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery and promptly report any issues to supervisors
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to uphold safety standards
• Follow all safety protocols while operating equipment and working around moving parts
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently
• Assist with inventory management for both raw materials and finished products
• Prepare goods for shipment in an accurate and timely manner
• Safely lift and move items weighing at least 55 pounds

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with assembly processes is a plus
• Experience operating forklifts, power tools, or hand tools is desirable (training available)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills and a proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed
• Basic understanding of manufacturing or assembly line operations is beneficial

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
