Job Title: Manufacturing Operative
Location: High Carr Industrial Estate, Stoke on Trent
Salary: £12.71 per Hour
Job Type: Full-time 4 Day Working Week
Typical Hours: 07:00 - 17:00 Monday to Thursday

About Us:
We are a leading air distribution manufacturing company, specialising in producing high-quality HVAC products, including diffusers, grilles, dampers, and louvres. With 3 facilities in the Stoke area covering General assembly, Sheet metal processes, Powder coating and Power press operations we are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Manufacturing Operative to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate machinery, hand tools and cutting equipment used in the production of air distribution products
• Assist in the assembly, packaging, and quality control of components
• Follow production schedules and instructions
• Assisting with the preparation of materials for powder coating, including cleaning and masking components
• Learning and operating powder coating equipment under the guidance
• Applying powder coating finishes to various metal components, ensuring high-quality standards are met
• Ensuring the production area is kept clean, tidy, and safe adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times
• Ensure all products meet our high standards of quality
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred but not essential)
• Ability to operate basic hand tools and machinery
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Ability to work efficiently in a small team and independently
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
• Driving License and FLT License preferred but not essential
