Manufacturing Operator

About the role

UPAC MANUFACTURING SDN. BHD. is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join our production team in Johor Bahru, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our assembly and process work operations. As a Manufacturing Operator, you will be responsible for executing manufacturing processes efficiently and consistently, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. Your work will directly contribute to our production targets and overall business success.

What you'll be doing

• Operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment and machinery in accordance with established standard operating procedures
• Performing assembly tasks with precision, ensuring products meet quality specifications and safety requirements
• Inspecting finished products for defects and ensuring compliance with quality standards before packaging
• Maintaining accurate production records and documentation throughout your shift
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment
• Performing routine equipment maintenance and reporting any malfunctions or issues to supervisors
• Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets and deadlines
• Following waste management and environmental protocols in accordance with company standards
• Responding to instructions and feedback from production supervisors and quality control personnel

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Manufacturing Operator or in a similar assembly and process work role
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality output
• Ability to operate manufacturing equipment safely and effectively
• Basic understanding of quality control procedures and standards
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks, lift items, and stand for extended periods
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic
• Willingness to follow health and safety procedures at all times
• Ability to work shift work, including potential overtime when required
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Previous experience in the manufacturing or assembly sector would be advantageous
