Manufacturing Optimization Engineer - Vienna, Austria

Key responsabilities:

Design and implementation of measures to optimize manufacturing processes

Definition and budgeting of planned production investments

Establishment and monitoring of process and manufacturing optimization effectiveness

Introduction of synchronized manufacturing processes and implementation of balanced production systems, including pull-based operations

Identification of waste and elimination of root causes of machine problems to increase productivity

Management of external development partners and oversight of timely project implementation

Cross-departmental collaboration with all teams along the production chain

Training coordination on new workflows

Ideal candidate:

• Technical degree from a university of applied sciences or technical university, with focus on electrical engineering
• Several years of experience in planning, implementing, and optimizing production processes
• Strong knowledge of process management methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen)
• Fluency in spoken and written German and English
• Teamwork and communication skills with a proactive, organized personality
• Independent, self-reliant, and solution-oriented work approach
• Willingness to travel (approximately 20%)
