Role Overview

The engineer will create and deliver station-wise machining process sheets, cutting-tool illustrations, and manufacturing engineering drawings for precision-machined components. The role requires strong understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, GD&T, engineering drawings, and controlled release of technical documentation using NX CAD and Teamcenter.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and review inputs from program, manufacturing, process and tooling stakeholders.
• Interpret component drawings, manufacturing requirements, tooling data, fixture models and machine information.
• Develop station-wise machining process sheets and detailed manufacturing documentation.
• Create cutting-tool designs and illustrations with all necessary manufacturing details.
• Prepare and update engineering drawings using NX CAD and AutoCAD, as applicable.
• Create assembly, part, fixture and tooling views, including required cut sections and designed views.
• Apply manufacturing GD&T and dimensional detailing in accordance with applicable standards.
• Classify, maintain and release 2D and 3D engineering data in Teamcenter or an equivalent PLM system.
• Upload approved process sheets and deliverables to designated project repositories.
• Review deliverables with manufacturing and program engineers, incorporate feedback and support final release.
• Maintain reconciliation matrices, work instructions, procedures, checklists and revision records.
• Prepare periodic status reports, issue summaries and technical recommendations. <
