Manufacturing Process Design Engineer

Job Summary

Responsible for Manufacturing Process Design for Prototype and Mass production parts in accordance with customer requirements. Works closely with senior engineers, production, and quality teams to ensure design accuracy, manufacturability, and continuous improvement of product design and production processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design production process step to fabricate part follow customer requirement.
• Design detailed part drawings, specifications
• Prepare and manage tooling layouts (e.g. FPC layout, die jig, guide input)
• Develop and optimize material shapes and specifications (e.g. adhesive sheets)
• Review and verify design documents before release; coordinate with checkers
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to explain design intent and inspection points
• Analyze production issues related to design and support corrective actions
• Manage design change requests from customers and internal stakeholders
• Support prototype, trial production, and new model introduction
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance product quality and efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Experience in design engineering is preferred (fresh graduates are welcome)
• Proficient in CAD software and design tools
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and tooling design
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Good command of English (TOEIC score 500 up)
