Manufacturing Process Engineer

SkillSetGroup is seeking an experienced Packaging Engineer to work in the Vernon, CA area. This position will oversee production process & packaging equipment solutions for B2B branding. The chosen candidate must have experience packaging design and equipment compatibility to produce shipper cases, cartons & trays for custom commercial display projects. Strong knowledge of production line equipment optimization is a also a must. This will be a 1st shift position and a DIRECT HIRE opportunity.

Hours: 7AM-4PM

Details:

• Will handle all production and packaging equipment design for customers
• Will also work with maintenance department to engineer parts
• Software: SAP, CAD, Excel, AutoCAD
• Will report directly to Sr. Director of Application and Continuous Improvement
• MUST have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in food manufacturing and packaging design
