Manufacturing Production Technician

About the Role

As a Manufacturing Production Technician, you will play a vital role in optimizing our cup production lines to ensure maximum efficiency and output quality. You will leverage your technical expertise in equipment troubleshooting and process management to maintain high-performance standards across our manufacturing zone.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical malfunctions to minimize downtime and maintain consistent production flow.
• Execute precise machine adjustments to ensure all output meets rigorous quality specifications.
• Perform proactive maintenance and component replacements to prevent equipment failure and improve operational safety.
• Conduct routine changeovers and manage machine start-up and shutdown sequences efficiently.
• Document production data, downtime metrics, and quality inspection results using digital tracking systems.
• Collaborate with cross-shift teams to communicate technical challenges and ensure seamless production handoffs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to all industrial safety protocols.
• Operate material handling equipment, including obtaining and maintaining scissor lift certification.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing or machine operation environment.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems and solve problems independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in paper converting or high-speed packaging industries.
• Demonstrated proficiency in data entry and digital production reporting tools.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance on automated machinery.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-decibel industrial setting.
