Manufacturing Project Engineer Responsibilities:

• Oversee facility and manufacturing projects from planning through implementation, ensuring alignment with safety and quality standards.
• Develop operational procedures and standards to enhance safety, quality, and cost-efficiency.
• Identify and troubleshoot operational issues using structured problem-solving techniques.
• Lead efforts on process and equipment development, preventive maintenance, and safety protocols.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives based on data analysis and operational trends.

Manufacturing Project Engineer Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Hands-on experience with automated processing equipment, including PLCs, Servos, and VFDs.
• Ability to manage capital projects using standard project management practices.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD; experience with food manufacturing and knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, or Six Sigma is preferred.
