Throughout the shift you’ll audit lines, read control charts and histograms, and communicate findings in real time to supervisors, leads, operators, and managers. You’ll also maintain the calibration program, evaluate equipment and software capability, and recommend print or process updates to keep quality tight and repeatable.

  • Inspect parts and equipment during design, production, and calibration phases to verify specifications.
  • Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI): color checks, impact testing, heat/shrink evaluation, visual inspections, and dimensional verification.
  • Run Gage R&R and MSA studies to validate method and equipment suitability.
  • Assess software and instrument capability/reliability for intended use.
  • Review engineering drawings and recommend quality-related revisions as needed.
  • Administer the calibration program for assigned measurement devices.
