Key Responsibilities

Own and maintain engineering MBOM structures for assigned projects.

Verify EBOM-to-MBOM translation across SolidWorks PDM, PLM, and ERP systems.

Validate PDM data, including part number, description, manufacturer, manufacturer part number, revision, drawn by, group code, and product class.

Monitor PDM-to-PLM synchronization and identify data or integration issues before they impact production.

Ensure engineering releases include approved drawings, validated DXF files, and complete BOM structures.

Identify mechanical, electrical, and HVAC long-lead items at the 30% design milestone and communicate requirements to Supply Chain.

Track long-lead purchasing actions and communicate potential schedule impacts.

Develop and maintain MBOM processes, work instructions, and Engineering Handbook content.

Conduct Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews and identify improvement opportunities using NCR and CAR data.
