Manufacturing Supervisor Trainee

About the role

Responsible for supporting manufacturing operations, monitoring quality and production performance, and assisting in process improvement and daily supervisory activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring daily production activities, manpower, workflow and production targets.
• Monitor product quality and ensure production activities follow company procedures, quality standards and work instructions.
• Assist in identifying and resolving production and quality issues.
• Prepare and maintain basic production and quality records and reports.
• Work closely with Production, QA/QC, Maintenance and other departments.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, safety and discipline are maintained in the working area.
• Develop supervisory and leadership skills.
• Perform other duties assigned by the superior or management from time to time.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering is required, while a Master’s degree is preferred.

• Good communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.

• Willing to learn and develop knowledge in production and quality management.

• Able to work under pressure and meet production requirements.

• Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.

• Good knowledge of production or quality control.
