  • Visual and dimensional inspection of manufactured and cast components
  • Identifying, documenting and following up non-conformances
  • Maintaining comprehensive photographic and inspection records
  • Preparing accurate daily surveillance and quality reports

  • Experience within a manufacturing, fabrication, foundry, engineering or heavy industrial environment
  • Ability to interpret WPS, WPQR, ITPs, drawings and inspection documentation
  • Strong report writing and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing directly with client representatives
  • Strong attention to detail and sound technical judgement
  • Ability to work independently and manage inspection requirements in a time-critical environment
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally and work in China on a rotational basis
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required visa and travel documentation

Highly Regarded

  • Experience within a foundry or casting environment
  • Knowledge of sand casting, investment casting or other casting processes
  • Metallurgical knowledge or understanding of material properties relevant to castings
  • Experience working with Tier 1 Australian resources, defence, infrastructure or energy clients
  • NATA or equivalent accreditation experience
  • Previous experience working in China or other Asian manufacturing environments

What ARI Offers
