Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Work Schedule: 3/12 - Fri/Sat/Sun

Description of work environment:

Very noisy clean room environment, cold(high 60 degree’s), suit-up in cap, coat, gloves, mask, Eye protection

What is a typical work day?

Enter facility, don PPE. Enter work area. This is bench work using a microscope. There is some soldering. This is working on optics, not circuit boards.

Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments.

Requires developing job knowledge/skills.
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
