HOBO, Inc. is the leader in custom chemical formulating, blending, and bulk chemical delivery to the commercial car wash industry. We have an excellent entry level opportunity for a Manufacturing Technician I position at our manufacturing facility in Lakeville, MN.

No relocation assistance is being offered for this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Packages, and assembles products as schedule dictates.
• Operate machinery or pumping equipment that packages products following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Application of labels to finished packaged items
• Ensure quality Finished product and packaged products to company and customer standards.
• Case packs finished secondary containers in primary box.
• Stacks finished products on skids or into bins.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Assists in unloading packaging truckloads, as necessary.
• Monitor machine performance to ensure optimal production.
• Notify supervisor or maintenance of any equipment problems.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines set by company and government regulations.
• Reliable attendance.
• The Production Supervisor(s) may assign other duties.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

• Has a basic understanding of machinery and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure the quality of the output.
• Ability to be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems that arise during production.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions; ability to write simple correspondence and the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations within the workplace.
• Basic ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Has a basic understanding of plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Able to operate a motorized vehicle. Fork lift skills a plus.
• Able to lift 50-75 lbs. frequently, and lift and/or move in excess of 100 lbs. occasionally.
• Able to work occasional overtime as needed.
