What they need

Want a role where solving test failures keeps production moving?

If you enjoy dissecting logs, fixing finicky fixtures, and turning ambiguity into clear SOPs, this role is for you. You’ll be the go-to problem solver who keeps test stations healthy and supports Test Engineers as new stations and processes roll out.

What you will do

  • Own escalations: diagnose and repair sustaining production test issues from Repair Technicians; communicate outcomes to Test Engineers.
  • Repair/maintain test fixtures so they’re reliable and safe for operators.
  • Monitor test station performance and address anomalies before they become downtime.
  • Author and refine SOPs for operators/testers; document testing procedures end-to-end.
  • Log issues/failures comprehensively to build a searchable history of learnings.
  • Assist Test Engineers with station setup and process work for modeling, pre-pilot, and pilot phases.

Do you have the following?

  • 0–2 years’ background in PCBA processes, methodologies, standards, and best practices.
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Fluency in reading test logs.
  • Basic Linux/UNIX know-how.
  • Ability to work with network gear (e.g., switches).
  • Exposure to computer hardware (CPUs, NICs, memory, etc.).
  • Comfort with schematics/diagrams and common electrical components.
  • Resilience under pressure and deadlines.

Physical demands & environment

  • Lift up to 40 lbs during the shift.
  • Frequent walking, standing, repetitive bending, and some climbing.
  • Manufacturing setting with potential hazards; follow standard safety practices.
  • Vision needs include close/distance, color recognition, hand/eye coordination, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Why you’ll love it here

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Employer-paid basic life and short-term disability.
  • Supplemental life and long-term disability options.
  • 401(k) with employer contribution.
  • Paid Personal, Vacation, and Holidays for full-time employees.
  • Onsite Aurora Health & Wellness Center for all employees.
  • Culture that champions learning and career growth in smart manufacturing.
