What they need

Aus Pie Co is an industry leading manufacturer of sweet and savoury baked goods which are made here in Australia.

Our products are delivered throughout Australia and New Zealand and our brand names include Mrs Mac's and Pie Face.

At APC we take pride in every product we make, with a commitment to quality, tradition and flavour which has made us a trusted manufacturer in the industry.

About the role:

Our Morley Bakery is seeking a motivated and flexible individual to join our team as a casual Manufacturing Worker, working across stores and machine operation.

This is a day shift role, working 6:00am to 2:06pm.

This is a hands-on, varied role and no two days are the same. Your duties will depend on daily workload and may include:

  • Operating production machinery, including the guillotine
  • Meat processing
  • Stores duties, including receiving, storing and moving stock
  • Forklift operation as required
  • General manufacturing and other tasks as directed

Please note this is not a dedicated forklift role. Forklift work makes up only part of the role, and the successful applicant will spend most of their time on machine operation, meat processing and stores tasks.

To be successful in the role, you will need:

  • A current forklift licence (essential). Forklift experience is not necessary.
  • Experience in operating machinery, stores, food preparation or production.
  • Ability to work in a manual, physical role.
  • Flexibility to move between tasks depending on daily needs.
  • To work to standard operating procedures and within health and safety guidelines.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Previous bakery/food industry experience will be highly regarded.
  • Reliability and a can-do attitude!

What's in it for you?

  • Fantastic casual opportunity with a fast-growing national food manufacturing company.
  • Varied work, so every day is different.
  • Passionate and friendly team.
  • On-site parking.
  • Staff discount at the Mrs Mac's Take Away Shop.
  • Centrally located facility.
  • Monthly Cheers for Peers Recognition Program.
