Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Marble & Stone Estimator to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates, quotations, and tender submissions for marble, granite, porcelain, and other stone-related works.

The role requires strong knowledge of marble and stone materials, installation methods, quantities, wastage, accessories, manpower, equipment, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review BOQs, tender documents, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for marble, granite, stone, porcelain, and related finishing works.
• Calculate material quantities including wastage, cutting, fabrication, polishing, edges, nosing, skirting, countertops, backsplashes, and other stone works.
• Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations for materials, fabrication, transportation, and installation.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and project estimates.
• Calculate labor, installation, machinery, transportation, accessories, consumables, and other project-related costs.
• Analyze IFC drawings, architectural drawings, elevations, sections, and details to identify the complete scope of work.
• Coordinate with the Technical, Procurement, Production, and Project Teams to ensure accurate pricing.
• Identify discrepancies, missing information, exclusions, and potential risks in tender documents.
• Prepare competitive commercial offers while maintaining required profit margins.
• Prepare variation and additional-work quotations when required.
• Maintain and update material and supplier price/rate databases.
• Follow up with suppliers to obtain updated prices and lead times.
• Assist in preparing tender clarifications and technical/commercial queries.
• Review project specifications and identify special requirements such as testing, mock-ups, warranties, protective coatings, sealants, movement joints, and installation systems.
• Ensure all quotations are submitted accurately and within the required deadlines.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, quotations, supplier offers, and supporting documents.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in estimation of marble, granite, stone, porcelain, or interior finishing projects.
• Strong practical knowledge of marble and stone materials, fabrication, and installation.
• Experience in UAE construction projects is preferred.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, BOQs, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and estimation/quantity take-off tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tender submission deadlines.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Pay: AED1.00 - AED2.00 per month

Experience:

• Estimations in marble industry : 3 years (Preferred)
