MARINE AUTOMATION / ELECTRICAL SERVICE ENGINEER – UAE

About the Role

We are looking for experienced Marine Service Engineers with hands-on vessel experience in automation, electrical and instrumentation systems.

This position is not suitable for freshers or helper-level candidates. Candidates must have practical experience working onboard vessels.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out troubleshooting, maintenance, testing and repair of marine automation and electrical systems.
• Attend vessels onshore, offshore and during sailing, as required.
• Diagnose faults and carry out corrective maintenance independently.
• Perform installation, testing and commissioning of marine equipment.
• Read and understand electrical, automation and control drawings.
• Perform instrumentation inspection, testing and calibration.
• Prepare service reports and document completed work.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and technical team during vessel assignments.
• Follow safety procedures and company requirements while working onboard vessels.

Required Technical Experience

Candidates should have practical knowledge/experience in one or more of the following:

• Tank Gauging Systems
• Instrumentation & Calibration
• Fire Alarm Systems
• Boiler Systems
• AMS – Alarm Monitoring System
• PLC
• SCADA
• Marine Automation Systems
• Generator / PMS systems
• Sensors, transmitters and control systems
• Electrical panels and troubleshooting
• Control wiring and commissioning

Mandatory Requirement

• Previous hands-on experience onboard vessels is mandatory.
• Candidates must be capable of working independently on vessel assignments.
• Willingness to work onshore, offshore and during vessel sailing is required.
• Candidates with only workshop/helper-level experience will not be considered.

Experience

Minimum 2–3 years of relevant marine vessel experience, depending on technical capability.
