Marine Superintendent

🟠Location: West (Pick up at Jurong East)

🟠Salary: up to $5,500

🟠Working Hours: Mon – Fri 8.30am – 5.30pm

Responsibilities:

Vessel Compliance & Surveys

• Ensure vessels comply with maritime regulations, certifications, and international standards
• Coordinate and monitor vetting inspections, class audits, SIRE, Flag State, and statutory surveys
• Ensure compliance with ISM Code, SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW, and other international requirements

Crew Management & Development

• Approve crew assignments, conduct interviews, and oversee onboarding
• Identify crew training needs and implement structured development programmes
• Provide onboard mentoring and support competency management

Safety & Operations

• Conduct safety inspections, manage incident investigations, and follow up on audits
• Oversee navigational safety, pollution prevention, and cargo operations
• Support voyage planning and execution to maximise efficiency and cargo utilisation
• Monitor resource allocation and utilisation for optimal fleet support

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet operations, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role
• Certificate of Competency (CoC) Class 2 Deck or above, recognised by MPA Singapore
• Strong knowledge of ISM, MARPOL, SOLAS, and STCW regulations
• ISM/ISPS or ISO Lead Auditor certification is an advantage
• Tanker experience preferred
