Maritime Recruitment Assistant

The Recruitment Assistant supports the efficient delivery of recruitment activities to ensure the sourcing, screening, and selection of qualified seafarers in accordance with principal requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and screen qualified applicants based on recruitment requirements
• Conduct initial evaluation and verification of applicants’ documents and qualifications
• Perform background checks and ensure authenticity and completeness of submitted documents
• Maintain accurate recruitment records, applicant databases, and documentation files
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding recruitment and crew requirements
• Contact and communicate with potential candidates sourced from different recruitment platforms
• Assist in managing the pool of applicants to ensure availability of qualified candidates
• Support recruitment activities such as examinations, document verification, and candidate processing
• Provide updates and maintain records of recruitment statistics and reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or maritime recruitment is an advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Office applications and database management
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and regulated environment
