MARKER OPERATOR

Basic Tasks:

Ø   Verifies router to part serial number and then applies all markings via the specified method to the castings, in the location defined in Technique Card.

Ø   Extracts from computer, computer issued serialization numbers for various customer.

Ø   Performs a basic visual inspection and notifies quality when there is a finding

Ø   Documents detail onto part log sheets for completed marking.

Ø   Off load trucks, loads trucks, hoist operation, forklift certification and pallet jack operation.’

Ø   Assist with monthly physical inventories

Ø   Communicates and interacts with Schedulers, Quality Management and customers.

Ø   Maintain marking supplies in good working order and advise when marking supplies are low or replacements purchased.

Ø   takes the graded patterns and traces them onto paper, making a layout plan or roadmap to the cut of the style.

Ø   carefully plan the placement of pieces and keep in mind the needs of the cutting department.
