Market Analyst

What You’ll Do

• Conduct costing analyses to support customers in making informed strategic sourcing decisions.
• Manage the administrative aspects of pricing and costing setup while ensuring positive variance within agreed thresholds.
• Consolidate KPI reporting and perform trend analyses to provide meaningful insights that support Key Account Managers in their engagement with internal stakeholders and customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate project execution and resolve operational issues.
• Conduct single-market and global cost studies, providing value-added supply chain insights to support customers’ strategic sourcing analyses and Key Account Team requirements.
• Set up and maintain costing and pricing within HAVI’s pricing system, ensuring positive variance within customer-defined thresholds.
• Validate supplier costing and investigate discrepancies relating to invoicing.
• Analyse price variance reports, identify movement trends and provide recommendations for pricing adjustments when variances fall outside agreed thresholds.
• Work with relevant markets to obtain alignment on recommended pricing adjustments.
• Manage the onboarding of new suppliers and coordinate across HFM functional teams to ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience.
• Prepare KPI reports and conduct trend analyses to support Key Account Executives and Managers in customer business review discussions.
• Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Manager to align forecasting, business planning and sales pipeline development with FM strategies.
• Conduct feasibility studies and pricing analyses, and develop business cases to support new initiatives and service enhancements.
• Manage forecasting across markets by consolidating market forecasts, translating requirements to suppliers and ensuring timely monthly distribution.

What We’re Looking For

• Around 3 years of experience in market analysis, business intelligence, strategic planning or a related role.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain or international trade is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to simplify and communicate complex information clearly.
• Confidence in performing costing analysis and evaluating complex business scenarios.
• Strong ability to assimilate information and make informed decisions quickly.
• Independent, resourceful and driven to deliver results.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to analyse large volumes of data.
• Previous experience in supply chain analysis will be an advantage.
