MARKET DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

This is a permanent position role for the Market Development Executive based in Tawau and covering the area of Tawau and West Coast. The incumbent shall fulfill the role as the agrochemical solution provider in the agriculture field. He is required to work closely with the Sabah Sales Team in implementing the marketing & sales strategies in achieving the stipulated sales target. The incumbent need to develop market demand by visiting private and public plantations, smallholdings and farms. This shall be achieved through actively prospect the sales leads, secure potential new clients and successful retention of existing clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION/ACCOUNTABILITIES

·      Assist in formulation and implementation of short and medium term strategic plans within the assigned area

·      Actively carry out farm fields visit and plantation estate visit to solicit market leads

·      Organize product forum for the plantation estate by presenting “Integrated Weed Management” approach to impart weed and agrochemical knowledge to the estate staff

·      Organize field trials and product demonstrations with the plantation estate staff to showcase the product efficacy.

·      Sales follow up after the product field efficacy trial

·      To do daily sales report with the gather, assimilate and analyze market competitive information

·      Show initiative in expanding selling skills and product/portfolio knowledge

·      Willing to travel outstation
