Market Development Lead - Indonesia Market

We are seeking a Market Development Lead to develop our Internationalisation Learning Journeys & Tourism opportunities connected with Indonesia. The role combines market development, partnership building and solution creation. It is not a programme-delivery-only position.

Full-time | Singapore-based, with Indonesia market coverage | In-person client meetings and up to 50% travel | Benefits include professional development and work-from-home arrangements.

Market portfolio

Indonesia-focused learning journeys, educational travel, institutional partnerships and related internationalisation opportunities. The role may involve developing both source-market and destination-market relationships.

What you will do

• Research and identify Indonesia-related opportunities, target clients and partnership channels.
• Develop relationships with schools, education partners, agencies, tourism stakeholders and other relevant organisations.
• Translate client objectives into credible learning-journey concepts and proposals.
• Build a qualified pipeline and take ownership of opportunities from first engagement through proposal and conversion.
• Coordinate with internal and external delivery partners to ensure quality, feasibility, safety and commercial viability.
• Represent Mastereign professionally across cultures and maintain dependable follow-through.

What you bring

• Strong understanding of Indonesian culture and the Indonesia market, or demonstrable experience developing business or partnerships connected with the market.
• Professional communication and confidence with institutional stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Commercial awareness, initiative and comfort discussing budgets, value and partnership structures.
• Ability to connect educational objectives with travel or experiential-learning design.
• Organised, adaptable and able to work across borders and cultures.
• Bahasa Indonesia capability and relevant networks are advantageous; specific work-location and travel requirements will be discussed during the selection process.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in account servicing, business development, education, training, enrichment or another learning-related role is preferred.
• Experience engaging corporates, schools, government agencies or other institutional clients is advantageous.
• Existing legal authorisation to work in Singapore at the point of application; a bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred.
