About AIRS Medical

AIRS Medical is a fast-growing healthcare technology company founded in 2018 and headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, with rapidly expanding U.S. EMEA and Japan operations. Built on the belief that technology should help prevent illness, not just treat it, AIRS Medical empowers people to live healthier, longer lives.

Our flagship solution, SwiftMR, is an FDA-cleared, cloud-based AI software that accelerates MRI scans by up to 50% without compromising diagnostic quality. Trusted by more than 350 hospitals and imaging centers across the U.S., including Lumexa Imaging, Northwestern Medicine, and MedStar Health / Georgetown University, SwiftMR enhances imaging efficiency, patient comfort, and clinical workflow.

AIRS Medical has been recognized with Frost & Sullivan’s Technology Innovation Leadership Awards (2023 and 2024) and as the winner of the Facebook AI Research and NYU Langone Health fastMRI Challenge (2019 and 2020), underscoring our leadership in deep learning and medical imaging AI.

As we continue expanding globally, AIRS Medical remains committed to advancing AI and robotics innovations that enhance patient care, support healthcare professionals, and redefine diagnostic efficiency.

About the Role

AIRS Medical is looking for a Business Operations Manager, EMEA to drive the day-to-day execution of our commercial operations across the region.

This role serves as the operational bridge between Commercial, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, HQ Operations, and external partners, ensuring commercial activities move smoothly from quotation and order through provisioning, invoicing, renewal, and partner operations.

This is an independent individual contributor role, not an administrative support position. You will be expected to take ownership of operational issues, coordinate stakeholders, identify bottlenecks, and drive matters through to resolution.

Requirements

What you will do

Market mapping and white-space analysis

  • Build and maintain market maps for priority EMEA countries, covering hospitals, imaging centers and healthcare groups
  • Map current AIRS customers, opportunities and partner coverage to identify white spaces and priority targets
  • Validate and refine the maps with country business development (BD) teams

Strategic account and stakeholder intelligence

  • Research high-value, multi-site healthcare organizations: their footprint, structure, imaging capacity and growth plans
  • Map key decision makers and stakeholders across executive, clinical, technical, procurement and digital functions
  • Prepare account insights that support commercial account planning

Public-sector market access

  • Research how public healthcare procurement works in priority countries, including tender platforms and supplier registration
  • Map key requirements and documentation for market access, and help assess AIRS's readiness
  • Final legal, regulatory and compliance interpretation stays with the relevant AIRS owner or external specialist

Market intelligence database

  • Build and maintain a structured, reusable EMEA market intelligence database with clear sources and update dates
  • Prepare concise country, account and market access briefs for EMEA leadership and commercial teams
  • Use AI and research tools to work efficiently, while validating key facts through reliable sources

Required

  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to turn fragmented information into clear commercial insights
  • Comfort researching companies, healthcare systems, public procurement and market structures
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and confidence working with structured datasets
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • High attention to detail and the ability to distinguish facts from assumptions
  • Ability to work independently on open-ended research questions
  • Familiarity with AI research and productivity tools
  • Valid authorization to work or complete an internship in Germany
  • Ability to turn research data into meaningful reports to help the EMEA team understand markets and make strategies based on the data

Nice to have

  • Additional European languages and/or Korean
  • Interest in healthcare, medical technology, AI and international business

Student status is not required. Recent graduates and early-career candidates are welcome to apply.

Benefits

  • A paid, 6-month internship at €2,800 gross per month
  • Direct exposure to EMEA commercial leadership and strategic account work
  • Hands-on experience at the intersection of healthcare, medical technology and AI
  • Work in an international team across Europe and Korea
  • 15 days of PTO
  • Remote work setting
