Market Research Analyst

About the role

This position conducts research and provides information and insights regarding customers, markets, competitors and campaign effectiveness necessary to measure performance and support business decisions; works closely with the local Sales & Marketing and Engineering teams; coordinates with Regional Sales & Marketing teams.

What you'll be doing

1. Creates sales reports and conducts Marketing Research to help analyze Motors businesses in various areas such as but no limited to sales, gross profit margins, currency, competitors, and pricing.
2. Prepares accurate sales reports on a regular basis based on cost of goods sold, and other reports such as distribution sales files, and open orders for Sales Forecast Analysis utilization.
3. Assists Market Manager in creating customer profile using specific tools for Account Maintenance, Pricing Levels, and Marketing Information such as Customer Class and Market Channels.
4. Generates ad hoc reporting for Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Business Planning, Competitive Profiling and Account Maintenance.
5. Develops new reports and provides analysis and process documentation depending on the requester’s directions.
6. Updates all current processes through the integration of process automation, new tools integration and identifying new ERPs for current and future projects.

What we're looking for

1. Must possess a degree in Marketing or other Business-related courses or Industrial Engineering.
2. With at least two years' work experience as Analyst, Sales and Marketing or background in Sales and Marketing analysis, preferred but not required
3. Strong computer skills, proficiency in MS Office Tools. Advance user of Excel and Microsoft Access is an advantage
4. Advanced PowerBI, Salesforce and CRM a plus
5. Good communication skills
6. Amenable work on graveyard shift
