Marketing and Content Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking an organized, technically inclined Marketing & Content Assistant to support our marketing department in day-to-day creative production and digital channel operations. In this role, you will work directly alongside the Marketing Supervisor as a versatile force multiplier. You will assist during photo/video shoots, handle asset preparation and editing, build graphic layouts using standardized brand templates, and manage daily social media scheduling and community monitoring across our digital platforms.

This position is ideal for an energetic fresh graduate or junior creative who wants hands-on experience across both B2B multimedia production and multi-channel marketing operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production & Shoot Assistance

● Assist the Marketing Supervisor during on-site video and photo shoots at equipment

yards, showrooms, and project sites.

● Help manage production gear (mirrorless cameras, gimbals, tripods, wireless audio

mics, and lighting setups).

● Capture secondary B-roll, machine detail shots, and behind-the-scenes content under

the supervisor's direction.

2. Media Editing & Asset Formatting

● Media Management: Ingest, organize, rename, and back up raw photo and video files

following department cataloging standards.

● Video Assembly: Perform rough cuts, clip selection, timeline assembly, and audio sync

in DaVinci Resolve before final review.

● Graphic Formatting: Adapt approved assets into daily static posts, multi-slide

carousels, and spec graphics using Affinity Photo / Designer and Canva.

● Format and export all media into platform-exact dimensions and safe zones (9:16

vertical reels, 4:5 carousels/feed posts, 16:9 widescreen).

3. Social Media & Marketing Administration

● Schedule and publish approved content across company channels (Facebook,

Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X) strictly adhering to the weekly marketing calendar.

● Ensure all links, technical specs, tags, and formatting are accurate prior to publishing.

● Monitor incoming comments, messages, and audience inquiries daily; promptly flag

qualified commercial leads to the supervisor.

● Assist in organizing marketing materials, spec sheets, brochures, and digital asset

drives.

Qualifications & Requirements

● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Arts (MMA), Visual Communication,

Marketing, Mass Communication, or related field. (Fresh graduates are encouraged to

apply.)

● Software Toolset:

○ Canva: Fast and comfortable building layouts, using brand kits, and working with

templates.

○ DaVinci Resolve: Working knowledge of the Cut/Edit page (rough cuts, timeline

organization, basic audio sync, and exports).

○ Affinity Software: Familiarity with raster/vector design principles (willing and

quick to adapt to Affinity Photo / Designer).

● Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with camera operation basics (exposure, framing, audio

levels).

● Work Style: High attention to detail, highly organized with file names and folders,

coachable, and comfortable balancing creative tasks with administrative routines.

● Field Mobility: Willingness to accompany the team on outdoor field shoots, yard

walkarounds, and client site visits (observing all safety protocols).
