About Us
Erixon Equipment is a Des Moines company that designs and final-assembles the X-Line brand of agricultural and construction machinery: skid steers, wheel loaders, excavators, forklifts, and telehandlers. We sell through independent dealers nationwide. Founded in 2016 by Iowa farm kid Bryan Erixon, we build equipment that's safe, reliable, easy to operate, and competitively priced.

About the Role
We're looking for a creative, self-motivated DMACC student to help run our marketing. You'll be the person behind our social media, photos, videos, flyers, and website. It's hands-on work with real equipment, and you'll build a portfolio of work that actually gets used. You'll work closely with our operations and sales team, and your ideas will be heard.

Most of your time (about 80%) will be spent on creative work: social media, photos, video, flyers, and the website. The rest is dealer communication, like helping onboard new dealers and making occasional marketing calls.

What You'll Do

• Plan, create, and post content for our social media accounts, and keep them active and consistent
• Photograph and film X-Line machines on site in Des Moines for social media, our website, and dealer materials
• Edit photos and short videos, including walkarounds, feature highlights, and machines in action
• Design flyers, spec sheets, and other sales materials that follow Erixon brand standards
• Update and maintain our website, including product pages, photos, and new content
• Bring fresh ideas for reaching farmers, contractors, and dealers
• Help onboard new dealers by sending welcome and sales materials and making sure they have what they need to start selling X-Line
• Make marketing calls to dealers to share promotions, new materials, and product updates, and gather feedback
• Keep dealer contact info and call notes organized and up to date

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled at DMACC. Marketing, graphic design, digital media, photography, or a related program is a plus, but not required
• Experience with design tools like Canva
• Comfortable shooting and editing photos and video. A phone works fine, and camera experience is a bonus
• Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, and other social platforms from a business perspective
• Some website experience (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or similar) is helpful
• Friendly and professional on the phone and over email
• Organized, reliable, and able to work independently once you know the ropes
• Comfortable working outdoors around heavy equipment and following safety rules
• Interest in agriculture or construction is a plus, but you don't need to know a skid steer from a loader on day one
