Marketing & Sales Intern

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Marketing & Sales Intern to join MW Infinity in Kuala Lumpur City Centre. This is a full-time internship opportunity designed to provide you with valuable hands-on experience in sales and marketing within a fast-paced commercial environment. In this role, you will support our sales and marketing teams in driving business growth, acquiring new customers, and maintaining strong client relationships. This position offers an excellent platform to develop practical skills in sales consultation, customer engagement, and marketing initiatives whilst working alongside experienced professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Support the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and leads
• Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and marketing materials for clients
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform sales and marketing strategies
• Engage with prospective clients through phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings to understand their needs
• Maintain and update customer databases and sales records accurately
• Assist in organising and attending marketing events, product launches, and client meetings
• Support the creation and distribution of marketing content across various channels
• Provide administrative support to the sales and marketing team as required
• Gather customer feedback and insights to inform product and service improvements

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree programme in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management
• Fluency in English; additional languages such as Malay or Mandarin are advantageous
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanour
