Marketing Apprentice, Youth

About the Role: We are looking for an enthusiastic, high-energy fresher to join the Youth marketing team as an Apprentice. This role is designed for a fresh graduate eager to build a career in media and entertainment marketing across broadcast and OTT streaming platforms.

In this entry-level program, you will support campaign execution, brand solution ideation and presentaion creation, social media content development, on-ground activations, and platform optimization for brands like Nickelodeon, Sonic, Nick Jr., and JioHotstar Kids. Key Responsibilities:

1. Brand Solutions Support : Help research target brand partners, create and compile pitch decks, and assist ad sales and brand solutions teams in tracking the execution of client integrations.
2. On-Ground Execution : Coordinate, assist in planning, and support the execution of on-ground activations and promotional properties across the JioStar Kids & Family universe.
3. Campaign Execution Support : Assist in tracking timelines, coordinating asset deliveries, and ensuring multi-channel promotional deliverables are completed on schedule.
4. Social Media & Content Ideation : Brainstorm fresh, trend-driven creative ideas for digital and social channels to drive engagement among young audiences and families.
5. Platform & OTT Operations : Monitor content displays, verify asset metadata, and support promotional placements across streaming services and digital touchpoints.
6. Cross-Functional Coordination : Liaise daily with internal teams—including PR, creative design, media planning agencies, and ad sales—to keep promotional workflows aligned.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Education : Recent Bachelor’s degree (fresher) in Marketing, Business, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
2. Presentation & Deck/PPT Creation : Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Canva to build clean pitch decks, internal presentations, and campaign updates.
3. Basic Copywriting & Communication : Strong written English skills for drafting basic social media copy, promotional blurbs, and internal sync notes.
4. Project & Time Management : Ability to multitask, manage tight deadlines, track deliverables, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
5. Agility & Adaptability : High learning agility, readiness to adapt to shifting priorities, and a proactive attitude toward taking on dynamic tasks.
6. Industry & Cultural Awareness : Deep familiarity with current internet trends, short-form video formats (Reels, Shorts), and kids' entertainment culture.
7. AI & Digital Tools Proficiency : Familiarity with generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney/DALL-E, Canva AI) to assist with research, creative visual concepts, and copy ideation.
8. Analytical Aptitude : Baseline proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with basic reporting formats and metrics.
