Marketing Assistant

About the role

Perth Double Glazing is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic marketing team on a casual basis. Based in Rockingham, WA 6168, this role offers the flexibility of casual work whilst providing valuable experience in the marketing and communications field. As a Marketing Assistant, you will support the delivery of marketing campaigns, communications initiatives and promotional activities that drive brand awareness and customer engagement for our double glazing business. This position is ideal for someone looking to build their marketing experience with a growing local business.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
• Support the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including social media content, newsletters and promotional collateral
• Help manage and update the company's social media platforms with engaging content and customer interactions
• Conduct market research and gather competitor intelligence to inform marketing strategies
• Support the organisation and coordination of promotional events and customer engagement activities
• Assist with data entry, database management and tracking of marketing metrics and campaign performance
• Liaise with external suppliers, designers and vendors as needed for marketing projects
• Support administrative tasks related to marketing operations and communications

What we're looking for

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create clear, engaging content
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic graphic design software
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Preferred: Previous marketing or communications experience, either professional or through academic study
