Marketing Assistant

About the role

As Marketing Assistant, you'll support our Group Brand Manager across the full mix of marketing activity including - campaigns, content, social media, events, our online presence and reporting. Working closely with the Group Brand Manager, you’ll help coordinate and execute marketing activity across content, digital, social media, events, campaigns and brand collateral.

It's a hands-on, varied role with plenty of scope to get creative and grow. You'll turn complex, high-profile project work into content that gets noticed globally, and build real experience across digital and B2B marketing.

You’ll be someone who takes ownership of the detail, follows tasks through to completion and is comfortable working across multiple priorities. You’ll know when to ask questions, but you’ll also be confident taking initiative and finding the next step.

You'll bring loads of positive energy, strong organisation and sharp attention to detail to everything you do.

What you'll be doing

• Support marketing campaigns: help develop and execute campaign rollout across digital, social and email, including content preparation, scheduling, asset coordination, database management and performance reporting.
• Create standout content: create and adapt social media content, project updates and marketing collateral within established brand guidelines. Assist with the development of case studies, capability statements, presentations and campaign assets, creating excitement whilst remaining true to our brands.
• Maintain digital channels: coordinate website updates, upload new content, maintain project and service information, schedule social media content and assist with basic SEO implementation and performance monitoring.
• Coordinate events: support the planning and delivery of conferences, trade shows, client events and internal events; including registrations, invitations, supplier coordination, collateral, merchandise, attendee lists, logistics and post-event follow-up.
• Support suppliers & partners: coordinate external vendors to help build partnerships that grow visibility across our industries.
• Track performance: maintain marketing expenditure records, compile monthly metrics and reports, and support the annual marketing strategy and budget.
• Keep things running: provide administrative support to the Group Brand Manager, coordinate meetings and minutes, and maintain marketing databases and contact lists.

What you'll bring

• Recent graduate through to 3 years' experience in marketing or a related role.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with sharp attention to detail.
• Confidence with digital marketing tools and platforms - hands-on digital marketing experience is advantageous.
• Experience with graphic design and video editing software, including Canva, CapCut and Adobe InDesign in particular (Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro a plus).
• Excellent organisation and multitasking, and a fun, proactive, helpful approach to everything you do and everyone you encounter.
• Willingness to travel to sites – the action takes place here!
• Current Driver's Licence.

Nice to have: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications or a related field, strong understanding WordPress, HubSpot/CRM, Mailchimp or EDM platforms, Adobe CC, video editing, GA4, SEO, B2B marketing, experience in the demolition, construction, resources or remediation industries.
