Marketing Associate

Role & responsibilities

• Own marketing and growth for UpnUps SaaS product targeting local businesses, MSMEs and SMBs.
• Develop and execute customer acquisition strategies across digital marketing, outbound, partnerships, content and other relevant channels.
• Understand the target customer, identify their pain points and translate them into compelling marketing campaigns.
• Build and optimise the funnel from lead generation demo pilot paid customer.
• Experiment with messaging, offers, channels and campaigns to identify what drives customer acquisition.
• Work closely with the sales and product teams to improve conversion and customer feedback loops.
• Track key metrics such as CAC, CPL, conversion rates, pipeline and revenue generated.
• Take ownership of growth rather than simply executing predefined marketing tasks.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2–5 years of experience in SaaS, B2B or growth marketing.
• Prior experience marketing or selling SaaS to local businesses, MSMEs, SMBs or traditional/offline businesses is strongly preferred.
• Has personally run campaigns and can demonstrate actual customer acquisition results.
• Strong understanding of B2B lead generation, performance marketing, content, outbound and funnel optimisation.
• Comfortable working in an early-stage startup with ambiguity and taking ownership.
• Data-driven, experimental and focused on revenue rather than vanity metrics.
• Excellent communication and ability to understand customers deeply.
• Bonus: experience with security, facility management, workforce management, HR-tech or other SMB-focused SaaS products.
