Engagement Overview

LoanBud is seeking an independent contractor to provide design and content creation services across social media, email, website, advertising and other digital channels. This is a hands-on, execution-focused engagement for a provider who can take a brief and turn it into polished, on-brand content quickly.

Scope of Services

The contractor will provide services which may include:

• Design & creative production — graphics and branded assets for social, email, web, ads and presentations (posts, carousels, infographics, lead magnets), adapted across platforms.
• Content & copy — clear, conversion-focused copy for U.S. audiences that turns SBA and small-business finance topics into accessible content across social, email, blogs and landing pages.
• Social media — short-form posts, carousels and educational content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, informed by performance.
• Short-form video — edit reels and promotional clips, add captions/graphics/music, and repurpose long-form content into video.
• Campaign creative — assets and A/B variations for email, paid ads and landing pages, polished and on-brand.
• AI-assisted workflows — use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Canva AI, Midjourney, Descript) to speed up production, refining output for quality and brand consistency.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years in marketing, digital marketing, graphic design or content creation.
• Strong portfolio of graphic design and marketing content.
• Design tools: Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma or similar.
• Video editing: CapCut, Descript, Adobe Premiere, Canva or similar.
• Familiarity with AI creative and content tools.
• Strong written and verbal English.
• Reliable remote setup and availability overlapping U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Nice to Have

Fintech, financial services, SaaS or B2B experience; U.S. audiences; HubSpot or other CRM; paid ad creative; email campaign design; SEO basics; short-form video for TikTok, Reels, Shorts or LinkedIn; and building or maintaining brand guidelines.

Working Arrangement & Terms

This is a fully remote independent contractor engagement, not employment. The contractor sets their own schedule, methods, location and equipment, and should generally be reachable during U.S. Eastern Time business hours for briefs, campaign discussions and reviews. The contractor is responsible for their own taxes, social contributions, insurance and any registrations required in their jurisdiction, is not entitled to employee benefits, and is free to provide services to other clients. Fees are based on experience, creative ability and ownership, and are discussed during selection.
