Marketing Associate

About the Role

The Marketing Associate role is a part-time support position working directly with the Marketing Director. In this role, you will take on the day-to-day tasks that keep realtor outreach, office visits, and events running smoothly, so the Marketing Director can focus on strategy and business development.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the real estate industry and is comfortable speaking with realtors. Industry knowledge is a core requirement for this role, not a bonus.

This is a supporting role. You will follow the Marketing Director’s priorities, plans, and standards, and represent the Pillar To Post brand professionally in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of the marketing team, you will support the Marketing Director by:

Realtor Office Visits

• Carrying out scheduled office visits according to the Marketing Director’s outreach plan.
• Preparing and delivering snack boxes and promotional materials.
• Taking notes and reporting back on realtor interactions when requested.

Event Support

• Assisting with setup and teardown for golf outings, networking events, conventions, and presentations.
• Organizing and transporting event supplies and materials, following the Marketing Director’s event plans.

Marketing Preparation

• Assembling snack boxes and organizing supplies and promotional materials ahead of visits and events.
• Keeping materials stocked and organized so they are ready when needed.

Marketing & Creative Support

• Assisting with simple Canva projects and graphic tasks as directed by the Marketing Director.
• Helping with light marketing projects when requested.

Additional Opportunity: Customer Service Support

Candidates interested in additional hours may be considered for customer service support, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and handling customer communication. This added responsibility is coordinated with and approved by the Marketing Director and is based on business needs and performance.

Qualifications Required

• Working familiarity with the real estate industry, including how residential transactions and the realtor community operate.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Organized, dependable, and able to follow direction.
• Reliable transportation for local travel.
• Ability to lift and transport boxes and event materials.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

• Experience using AI tools for content creation, research, or everyday productivity.
• Canva or basic graphic design experience.
• Marketing, event support, or event coordination experience.
• Customer service or relationship-building background.
• Administrative or office support experience (especially for candidates interested in the customer service opportunity).

Reporting Structure

This position reports directly to the Marketing Director and takes day-to-day direction from that role.

Schedule & Compensation

• Minimum of 15 hours per week, part-time.
• Starting pay: $20.00 per hour.
• Mileage reimbursement for business travel.
