Marketing Automation Developer - Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Context

Within the Marketing & Digital team, marketing automation plays a key role in realizing personalized customer experiences and optimizing digital campaigns. The Marketing Automation Developer contributes, with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, to the annual production and maintenance of 100+ e-mail campaigns, interactive tools, landing pages, and forms. These communications are both commercial and transactional in nature and represent Luminus’ main outreach to both B2C and B2B customers.

Missions

• Translate campaign briefs from go-to-market managers into engaging, user-friendly, on-brand, and personalized customer experiences across emails, landing pages, in-app notifications, forms, and digital tools.
• Build and deliver campaign assets in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including emails, landing pages, in-app notifications, forms, content blocks, and digital tools.
• Use customer attributes and behavioral data to personalize content and create relevant campaign journeys across channels, using AMPscript and other scripting languages where required.
• Develop and continuously improve engaging, on-brand email templates, and adapt or create supporting visuals, logos, and icons to enhance campaign performance.
• Manage the security, quality, and governance of assets hosted in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Support testing, implementation, and roll-out of new marketing automation capabilities, including Marketing Cloud Next and relevant AI-enabled functionalities.

Working Conditions

1. At least three years’ experience in marketing automation, preferably in a B2C services environment
2. Hands-on knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and customer data platforms such as Salesforce Data 360/Data Cloud, including segmentation, activation and journey orchestration
3. Experience with SQL and relational database management systems
4. Working knowledge of AMPscript, HTML, server-side JavaScript, jQuery and JSON
5. Up to date with web development trends, technologies and best practices
6. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with clear, proactive and respectful oral and written communication
7. Strong project management skills and end-to-end ownership
8. Ability to investigate root causes and turn complex issues into practical solutions
9. Analytical skills to deep-dive into technical or operational issues while maintaining a broader view to propose holistic solutions
10. Proactive, pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset with curiosity for results-driven innovation in automation and AI
11. Strong commitment to representing customer needs
12. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, communication, engineering, IT or a related field
13. Ability to multitask and work independently in a rigorous, structured way
