Position Overview:

As a Marketing Coordinator, you will report to the Senior Marketing Manager and play a vital role in executing marketing strategies and coordinating impactful events to promote our brand, products, and services. This position requires a creative, but above all, detail-oriented individual with a passion for marketing, excellent organisational skills, and a proven track record of successfully organising and managing events.

Responsibilities:

Event Coordination

• Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of events, including industry conferences, trade shows, product launches, and other bespoke events.
• End-to-end management of event logistics, including venue selection, supplier coordination and budget management.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop event objectives, themes, and agendas.
• Oversee event registration, attendee communication, and follow-up activities.
• Ensure seamless on-site event execution, managing event staff, coordinating audiovisual requirements, and handling any issues that may arise.

Marketing Support

• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, social media, email marketing, and content creation.
• Contribute to the creation of marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, and promotional materials.
• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
• Support the coordination of marketing activities and initiatives, including sourcing suppliers and quotes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• 2 to 3+ years of experience in Marketing and Event Coordination.
• Proven experience in planning, organising, and executing successful events.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, social media, and email marketing.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a high level of initiative and resourcefulness.
• Desirable - Adobe Creative Suite and website skills.
