What they need

Location: Secaucus, NJ

Department: Marketing

Reports To: Marketing Manager

Dotted-Line Coordination: Creative Director of Marketing, Brand Editor, and Social Media Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time, Hourly (Non-Exempt), overtime-eligible

Compensation: $26–$31 per hour

Artistic Tile is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to support our Marketing Department while building real event and design skills along the way. This is a high-growth role: reporting to the Marketing Manager, you'll get exposure to every part of the department — email, website, product literature, social, PR, and events — and the chance to take on more as you show what you can do.

Your core work is events, followed by design. You'll help plan and run the showroom events and trade shows that put our brand in front of customers and dealers, and you'll use tools like Canva and AI-assisted design to produce the collateral, labels, and presentations that support our sales and marketing efforts.

About Artistic Tile

Artistic Tile is a family-owned and operated luxury tile and stone company—design, import, distribution, and retail under one roof. We're leaders in our field because of the value we place on design innovation, quality control, and customer service. You'll join a marketing team known for producing content that sets the standard for the industry. Our reputation is established; your job is to help create the work and the experiences that uphold it.

What You'll Do

  • Event Concept & Production: Help plan and execute showroom events and trade shows, coordinating the invitations, signage, and on-site branding (working with the Creative Director and design team on the look) along with venue selection, catering, rentals, and vendor coordination, for both in-person and virtual events.
  • On-Site Event Presence: Represent the brand in person at events, making real-time calls on setup, signage placement, and presentation so the space matches the approved brand look and event plan.
  • Design & Collateral Production: Using Canva and AI-assisted design tools, design swatch cards, recess tray labels, product literature layouts, internal presentation templates, social graphics, and other brand collateral — owning each piece from first draft through final, print-ready file. You'll work within the brand templates and standards set by the Creative Director of Marketing, and extend them to new needs.
  • AI-Assisted Workflow & Accuracy: Use AI tools to speed up layout, reformatting, and first drafts, and review all output for brand fit and for accuracy against product data (SKUs, dimensions, finish names, ratings) before anything is routed for approval or printed.
  • Marketing Department Support: Support the full marketing team day to day, helping the Marketing Manager and teammates across email, website, product literature, social, and PR projects; organizing and distributing promotional materials to showrooms, dealers, and partners; and keeping project tasks and timelines current in Basecamp.
  • Brand Stewardship: Work with external vendors and agencies to keep design and messaging consistent and high-quality across every channel.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product development, and design to keep marketing materials aligned, accurate, and on-brand.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 1 year of related experience in event coordination, marketing, or design.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, design, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience or strong interest in event logistics and vendor coordination — venues, catering, rentals — and in the on-site energy of a live event.
  • Strong time and project management skills, with a knack for prioritizing and hitting deadlines, especially under the pressure of a live event date.
  • Fluency in Canva, including building and maintaining templates and brand kits.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools (such as Claude) in design or content work, and the judgment to review their output critically.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication: you can tailor a message clearly for different audiences.
  • Comfort working autonomously: you can self-direct your daily tasks and take ownership of a project from concept to completion.
  • A collaborative spirit and openness to feedback.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel occasionally and work some evenings/weekends around event dates (all hours worked are paid, with overtime per company policy and applicable law).

Bonus Points

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Experience with NetSuite, CRM software, or Basecamp.
  • Basic familiarity with email marketing platforms or website content management.

Why You'll Want This Role

  • Events with visible impact: You'll help create the showroom events and trade show experiences that customers, designers, and dealers remember — and see how the brand shows up in person.
  • Modern tools: We're building our design workflow around Canva and AI-assisted tools, so you'll grow skills that are in demand.
  • A high-growth role: This is a launchpad. Demonstrate your skills and there's a clear path to take on greater creative and strategic responsibility as the department grows.
  • Exposure to the whole department: Working under the Marketing Manager, you'll see how email, web, print, PR, and events fit together — a fast way to learn the business and find where you want to specialize.
  • A great location: A modern headquarters in Secaucus with an easy commute from Manhattan and throughout North New Jersey.

Pay: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Benefits:

  • 401(k)
  • Dental insurance
  • Employee discount
  • Health insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Referral program
  • Vision insurance
